Daniel N. Farnham has become a partner of the law firm Bauer, Anderson & Gravel. He works mainly out of the Colchester office. The firm announced that Robert H. Anderson is leaving to pursue a career as regional counsel for United General Title Insurance Co. in Colorado. Marybeth C. Nuovo has joined the firm as Of Counsel, and Susan R. Buchanan is an associate. The firm also announced it has changed its name to Bauer, Gravel, Farnham, Nuovo, Parker & Lang.

NRG Systems Inc., a manufacturer of wind energy assessment systems, announced the addition of four members to its team. Suzanna Brown is an electronics technician. Timothy Hoopes and Paul Smith are mechanical engineers. Alana Shaw is accounting manager.

Bread Loaf Corp., architects, planners and builders in Middlebury, announced the hiring of David Fisher as business development manager. Fisher was with Desmone & Associates Architects in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Banknorth Vermont announced the following promotions: Daniel Bellmore, Woodstock, officer; Peggy Burnham, Burlington, assistant vice president; Kathy Dunkley, Brattleboro, officer; Cheryl Eggsware, Bennington, officer; Gretchen Maginnis, Barre, assistant vice president; Tina McCosker, Brattleboro, officer; Sandy Murray, Rutland, assistant vice president; Michelle O'Hearn, West Brattleboro, officer; Brent Raymond, Williston, assistant vice president; Jennifer Viens, Burlington, officer; Bonnie Blake, Bellows Falls, vice president; and Vicki Potter, Manchester, assistant vice president

Century 21 Advantage announced that Lee Allaben joined the team of real estate professionals. Allaben has 16 years of real estate experience as a developer and general contractor.

Banknorth Vermont announced three promotions to the credit department. Named credit analyst I were Robyn Labrecque, who was head teller and commercial lending administrator, and Nathan Ward, who was teller I. Patrick McManus was named credit analyst II. He has been with the bank since November 2003.

Jerry Davis has joined DEW Construction Corp. of Williston as project manager. He was with a group in Orlando, Fla.

Middlebury College promoted Matthew Biette to director of dining services. He was associate director.

Joseph D. Lisaius, president of Lisaius Marketing, promoted Bret Murray to associate art director. Amy Fleming was hired as client services manager. She was with Westphalen Photography.

George LaCasse was appointed regional account manager for Global Industrial Services Inc.

Country Walkers announced the hiring of Sheri Rockcastle, Wendy Roth and Richard Tom as regional managers. Virginia Thomson was named office manager.

Fothergill Segale & Valley, Certified Public Accountants in Montpelier, announced that Donald Murray, CPA, has joined in the ownership of the firm. He has been with the firm since 1998.

SymQuest Group Inc. of South Burlington announced that Brian Pritts was promoted to the network services team as a network support engineer.

Maura O'Dea, associate AIA, and Penny Miller, associate AIA, joined Arnold & Scangas Architects in Colchester. O'Dea is a LEED consultant and intern architect. Miller, whose interests are historic preservation and renovation, is a member of Building for Social Responsibility.

Hackett Valine & MacDonald Inc. of South Burlington announced the following new hires: Roseanne L. Neddo is assistant commercial account representative in the commercial package department. Florence Stefaniak was named receptionist/assistant customer service representative.

Joseph M. Finnigan, president and CEO of Vermont Federal Credit Union, announced that Tom Crapo has joined the credit union as vice president of operations. Crapo has more than 20 years' experience in operations, lending and marketing.

David J. Gagnon was promoted to team leader of the hospitality lending division of Citizens Bank New Hampshire. He will also manage the non-profit healthcare group, whose geographic focus includes Vermont.

Robert D. Demont, president of Demont & Associates Inc. of South Burlington, announced the promotions of three associates. Laura L. Young was named senior vice president; Porter D. Caesar was named vice president; and James J. Boyle was named senior associate.

Gallagher, Flynn & Co. announced two staff additions. Wes Sherrill and Joe Burnett were named seniors in the company's tax department.

Christine Salembier, former commissioner of the Vermont Department of Public Service, was named to direct a newly formed government relations, public affairs and strategic consulting practice for Shems Dunkiel Kassel & Saunders PLLC.

Patrice Thabault, owner of Home Instead Senior Care, announced the appointment of Mary Lou Morrissette as director of community care and client services. She was with the Visiting Nurse Association.

Lang Associates real estate firm announced the addition of Jay Strausser to its team of sales professionals. Leslie Hammond was named community relations coordinator for the marketing team. Amanda Couillard, a third-year graphic design major at Champlain College, was also named to the marketing team.

Beau Ties Ltd. of Vermont added two marketing and communications professionals to its staff. Justin Perdue was hired as product and Web manager. He was with Mobilia magazine in Middlebury and Summit Technologies in Burlington. Shelly Robbie has been hired as marketing and public relations specialist. She was with Evergreen Direct in Middlebury and heads Robbie Communications in Shelburne.

Kevin A. Peterson was named executive director of the Upper Valley Community Foundation. Peterson joined the organization in 2001 and was the foundation's senior program officer.

Pioneer Environmental Associates LLC of Vergennes hired Daniel C. Redondo as senior aquatic ecologist. Redondo was with The Bioengineering Group of Salem, Mass.

Alison Johnson was named assistant to the director of the Vermont Council for Quality, a Colchester nonprofit that helps Vermont organizations improve performance and competitiveness. She was with a human resources consulting firm in Portland, Maine.
