Franz Rosenberger has joined the South Hero office of Coldwell Banker Islands Realty Inc. as a full-time Realtor. He will specialize in Grand Isle County properties.

Ed LeClair, fund-raising director of Circus Smirkus since 2003, was appointed executive director of the award-winning international touring youth circus based in Greensboro and the newly formed year-round circus arts school in Essex. LeClair will continue to head the fund-raising department.

Yves Bradley, who has owned The Body Shop on Church Street for 10 years, has joined the brokerage team at Pomerleau Real Estate. Bradley will work alongside Pomerleau sales associate Ed Helmer.

Carolyn Lyman-Mayer, sales manager of Chittenden's residential mortgage department, has been promoted to senior vice president at Chittenden Bank. She has been with the bank since 1985.

Paul Kaza, president of Paul Kaza Associates, announced the following staff additions. Mary D. Precourt was named finance administrator. She was at PDI Creative in Burlington. Michael L. Niggel, a 2003 graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, has joined the firm as Web designer.

Jager Di Paola Kemp Design announced the appointment of Falza Khanani as color team director; Steve Cousins, senior designer; Ned Beebe, digital production specialist; and Erik Petersen, junior designer. Khanani was with G.H. Bass in Portland, Maine. Cousins was with Westbeach Snowboard Canada in Vancouver and Neverquit Inc. in Kamloops, B.C. Beebe returns to JDK after a two-year absence, when he worked for Burch & Co. in Burlington. After interning at JDK for two summers, Petersen worked in Montreal and Massachusetts.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont announced promotions to its senior staff. Emily Fair was promoted to director of BlueCard in the BlueCard/ITS department. She has been with the organization since 1997. Sandi Hughes was promoted to director of provider contracting. Hughes joined the organization in 2000.

Rock of Ages announced the addition of Jennifer Pierce to its staff as sales associate for its newly constructed Memorial Design Studio in Graniteville. Steven A. Benoit, a computer-aided draftsman for the company, was named retail sales manager for the studio.

The American Red Cross of Central Vermont-New Hampshire Valley announced the appointment of Chet Briggs as director of emergency services. He is based at the Berlin office. A longtime volunteer with the chapter's disaster services, Briggs was with the Vermont Office of Health Access.

Darin Pope has joined Wachovia Securities as senior vice president-investments in the firm's Colchester office. He was vice president/portfolio manager with the McDonald Financial Group in Burlington.

The South Burlington CPA and consulting firm Grippin, Donlan & Roche PLC announced the following staff additions and promotions. Kimberly M. Pinkham, CPA, CFP, was admitted to the firm as a partner. Kandace Benedini has joined the firm in the newly created position of personal services representative for lifestyle management services. Jesse Lussier was hired as staff accountant. He is a 2003 graduate of Champlain College. CPAs Kristin Leach and Karen Mills were promoted to senior accountant in tax services. Both are graduates of Champlain College.

TransParent Office Center with shops in Milton and Swanton, has promoted Greg Wyman to senior computer technician.

The law firm of Sheehey Furlong & Behm PC announced that Benjamin Marks has joined as an associate attorney. He was with a New York firm.

Andrew Miller of Burlington has joined Truex Cullins & Partners Architects as a licensed architect. He was with a firm in Berkeley, Calif.

Northfield Savings Bank has appointed Kathy LaCross manager of its new location at Taft Corners in Williston. The location will also house executive offices and the commercial lending department for the bank's Chittenden County operations. LaCross has 25 years in banking in Chittenden County.

Bryan Yager and Christy Beltrami Yager, owners of Beltrami Studios, announced the addition of Molly Estey to their team of photographers. Estey returned to Vermont after a year in San Francisco as a commercial and portrait photographer.

The American Cancer Society appointed Sarah Green community executive for development serving the southern tier of Vermont. She was with Champlain Consulting in Essex.

Banknorth Investment Management Group has changed its name to Banknorth Wealth Management Group. The group provides trust and other wealth-advisory services to individuals and businesses from its 21 offices in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Connecticut and New York.

The Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf has promoted Sarah Barnett to the newly created position of administrative coordinator. She was site operations coordinator for the food shelf.

Engelberth Construction Inc. of Colchester announced that Jay Ribera and Jay Labare have joined the company: Ribera, a project engineer, has done general contracting work in Florida, Washington, D.C., Boston and most of Vermont, including IBM. Labare, an estimator, was with New England Air systems.

Richard Murphy was promoted to assistant director for user services in the information technology department at St. Michael's College. He was systems and network administrator. Erin Slattery was promoted to assistant director for enterprise applications in the department. She was on the applications support team, which has become the enterprise applications team. John Connors was hired as a middleware developer for the department. He worked for the college before leaving in 1990 to work for other local firms, most recently Hitachi.

Daniel W. Johnson was named vice president and area retail leader for the Vermont district of KeyBank N.A. He was with Chittenden Bank.

Sound Footings LLC announced the appointment of Jamie Dumas to the newly created position of sales manager. Dumas was Williston branch manager for A.H. Harris & Sons of Newington, Conn.

Hettena Wright & Horton, CPAs of Williston, announced that Kathy Durett has joined the firm as a bookkeeper. She has 27 years' experience with Vermont and New York companies.

Joseph M. Finnigan, president and CEO of Vermont Federal Credit Union, announced that Sarah Gamer, CPA, has joined the senior management team as controller. Gamer was dean of administration at Johnson State College and held positions at various regional firms.

Lang Associates announced the following additions to its team of sales professionals: Tony Stanley of Fairfax, who has 21 years with British Airways and US Airways; Nina Ryder Lynn, who was a paralegal with a Burlington law firm; and Jo Falise, who has more than 20 years' experience in sales, marketing and customer service.

Pennie Beach, owner of the Basin Harbor Club, has appointed Sheila R. Cleary director of sales and marketing for the resort. Cleary was with the Starwood Corp. and Conference Hotels of Vermont, which included the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center and the Ramada Inn.

Environmental Compliance Services Inc. has hired Matthew John Guerino as a field scientist I. He is a 2002 graduate of UVM with a bachelor's degree in geology.

Cherry E. Underwood, MBA, CPA, was named director of internal audit at Fletcher Allen Health Care, to be effective July 1. Underwood has been a manager in the hospital's budget department for five years.

Stowe Mountain Resort announced the following appointments. David Bennett is the new head professional at the Stowe Country Club. The Stowe native won the Mercedes Collegiate Championship at the University of Northern Florida and was ranked as high as 26th in the country, making it to the semifinals of the U.S. Amateur. He was Vermont Amateur Champion in 2000 and 2001. The resort has hired Shawn Owens to the new position of executive sales manager. Owens has worked for several ski resorts, most recently Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia.

New England Air Systems announced the following new hires and promotions. Bill Moore was named estimator. He has 10 years' experience in the HVAC and plumbing industry. Jeff McGrady joined the firm as project manager with more than eight years' experience in the field. Lorraine Matcovich was hired as an operations administrator. Her background includes work in the cryogenic engineering industry and secondary education. Frank Cassidy, a master plumber and foreman for 15 years with the firm, was promoted to project manager.

Bilodeau Wells & Co. PC, Certified Public Accountants, announced the addition of Nichole King to its staff. She is a 2003 graduate of Franklin Pierce College with a bachelor of science in accounting and a minor in finance.
