Nancy Fuller, D.C., has relocated her chiropractic clinic to 104 Robin Hood Drive in the Robin Hood Drive Industrial Park in Swanton. Fuller is a 1982 graduate of New York Chiropractic College.

Brenda Torpy, the CEO of Champlain Housing Trust, announced the selection of Michael Monte as chief operating officer. Monte, who announced his departure as director of Burlington’s Community and Economic Development Office in September, was a founder of the Burlington Community Land Trust in 1984 and a longtime volunteer board member of Lake Champlain Housing Development Corp. The organizations merged to form Champlain Housing Trust.

Kim Deetjen and Robert Millikin were named partners at TruexCullins, joining principals Rolf Kielman, David Epstein and Richard Deane. Deetjen leads the interiors studios at the architecture firm, a fully integrated design studio with 11 interior designers. She has been an associate of the firm and director of interiors since 1999. Millikin is the director of operations at the firm. He has been an associate since 2003.

Thomas Spencer, vice president of Williston-based Land Air Express of New England, announced the opening of the company’s 13th facility, in Woodbridge, N.J. The company will now offer next-day direct service to all points within New Jersey and provide next-day-direct service from New Jersey to every point in New England and New York.

TruexCullins architecture firm announced that Tom Hengelsberg, AIA, LEED AP, with the firm 14 years, was named a senior associate at the firm. Cleary Buckley, AIA, LEED AP, with the firm four years; Stephen Kredell, AIA, with the firm for two years; Lee Grutchfield, AIA, with more than 20 years’ experience; and Stephen Rooney, AIA, LEED AP, with the firm 10 years, were named the firm’s newest associates. 

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 300 hired Matt Lash as director of marketing and business development. A graduate of St. Michael’s College, he was with the Barre Partnership for two years.

Three have joined Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC as associates. Charlotte Ancel, in the Burlington office, and Elizabeth Wohl, in the Brattleboro office, are associates in the firm’s litigation practice. Jim Ferguson is an associate in the intellectual property practice group in Burlington. Ancel graduated in May from Franklin Pierce Law Center; Wohl was a law clerk to Vermont Supreme Justice Marilyn S. Skoglund; Ferguson, a patent attorney, is a graduate of Vermont Law School and was an engineer for the Dow Chemical Co. and with OMYA Inc.

Neville Companies announced the hiring of Jay Morris as a property manager in training. Morris has a background in education and law enforcement.

NRG Systems Inc. announced the addition of Ryan Lawrence to its towers technician team. Morris was with IBM in Essex Junction as a manufacturing operator. He had been a manufacturing operator with Burton Manufacturing Center. He designs and builds custom furniture for a family business, Sleeping Bear Woodworking.

Mark Sylvester the creative director and owner of  Interrobang Design Collaborative, announced that Lynn Alpeter joined the studio as head of marketing development. Alpeter has a bachelor of science in marketing from Miami University in Ohio and worked for companies such as Xerox Corp., Canstar Sports and Jager DiPaola Kemp Design.

Douglas J. Wacek, president and CEO of the Union Mutual of Vermont Companies, announced that Susan J. Martin, API, AIS, was promoted to commercial lines underwriter for southern New England. Wacek has 10 years’ experience with the company in personal and commercial lines.

Mechanical engineering designer Elijah Daniels has joined the North Springfield office of Stantec. Daniels has 10 years’ experience in computer-aided design. He was with Kiosko Inc.

Elizabeth Erickson joined Environmental Compliance Services in Richmond as a full-time environmental scientist. Erickson graduated from the State University of New York at Albany with a master’s degree in geology.

Frederick C. Morin III, M.D., dean of the University of Vermont College of Medicine, and Paul A. Taheri, M.D., MBA, senior associate dean for clinical affairs and president of the faculty practice at Fletcher Allen Health Care, announced the appointment of David Adams, M.D., associate professor of anesthesiology, as associate dean for graduate medical education at the College of Medicine and designated institutional official at Fletcher Allen. Adams joined UVM and Fletcher Allen in 2000. He replaces James Hebert, M.D.

Lang McLaughry Spera Real Estate announced the addition of two individuals to its team of sales professionals in the Rutland office. Alison Booth is a Realtor who has been an administrative vice president and property manager for a local real estate firm. Scott Duncan was with US Samica and Metromail and has experience in construction.

Fletcher Allen Health Care announced that it has named Gary W. Chawk chief financial officer. Chawk, who has spent all but two years of his career in health care finance, was CFO at St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw, Mich. 

Katie Budreski joined Stone Environmental Inc. as a geographic information systems specialist. She will develop GIS and remote sensing applications and mapping services for clients. Budreski was with Virginia Tech.

Open Doors of St. Albans named two program coordinators and two assistants. Claudia Mahoney, manager of the St. Albans Town Educational Center’s after-school program, was a Success by Six program instructor. Kim Jaird, Mahoney’s assistant, has been with the Town Educational Center since 1997. Lisa Sutton, after-school program coordinator at City Elementary School, was this year’s Open Doors summer program coordinator. Krista Florio, Sutton’s assistant, was an Americorps VISTA volunteer.

Andrew S. Holzman was promoted to central regional manager of community banking at Chittenden Bank. He joined Chittenden in 1996 as market manager for the Bennington Square office and was promoted in 2000 to market manager of the Manchester office.
