About Windows & Doors By Brownell

Les Brownell started Windows & Doors By Brownell in April 1991 with the concept of specialization. He began the first year offering installation of Marvin Windows & Doors.

As the business grew he offered more products for exterior wall needs including Velux roof windows and ThermaTru entrance doors. A new showroom was built in 1998 at 800 Marshall Avenue in Williston with the purpose of displaying these products in various interior and exterior settings. In 2007 the Williston showroom was expanded to display more products including Marvin Entry Doors and an array of decorative hardware and replacement products. 2007 also marked the opening of Windows & Doors By Brownell’s second showroom, located in Plattsburgh, NY. The Plattsburgh location was opened in response to increased interest in Marvin Windows and Doors in northern New York.

What began as a single man operation has grown into a dynamic company. Every employee works hard to ensure the customer engages in a positive experience.

Our Mission

The mission of Windows & Doors By Brownell is to sell windows and doors in a complete retail center which addresses all contractor and consumer needs from start to finish. Our team is committed to helping the customer make an educated buying decision. We will work continuously to improve the “one stop shop” philosophy by integrating services in a comfortable environment. We accept change as a basic premise and will adapt to market conditions to provide each individual customer with the best product at the best price. We believe quality assurance is based upon qualified personnel and an excellent product.
